Project Overview
Located in Onni’s newly developed Fremont Village, this 151,000 sqft Walmart features a first for the global retail giant. When built, this was the first Walmart in the world to feature a ‘green roof’. 220,000 succulents and sedums help this building reduce the ‘heat island effect’, promote energy conservation, and create a natural run off of rain water.

On this eco-friendly shopping supercentre, DMS was contracted to perform the full mechanical scope. This included plumbing, HVAC-R, Gas and Controls.
